Shikai Description: 
Shikai Special Ability: jikiarashi *Magnetic Storm*
As his sword is released, it unfurls in what is almost like a giant bird taking flight to the heavens. The sword becomes a whip as it lashes out across the sky. Giving Azuka the unique control over lightning, to such an extent that the very fabric and birth of lightning is at his command. *Does not extend into other lightning based zan’s or powers* However manipulating lightning is one thing, but Azuka is blind, and most people think lightning requires sight to fire it. Azuka, with shikai released is able to see more than anyone with eyes could. Lightning holds positive streamers, little arches of electrical charges that shoot out, like a streamer when lightning is present, everything has one of these, and the larger the charge, the larger the streamer. Positive, negative it doesn’t matter, everything makes streamers, even things that hold little charge, so, by using these streamers, Azuka can “see” where everything is, and know exactly where, what strength, and movement of things are. *The more reiatsu you have, the longer the streamer is, the longer the streamer, the easier it is for you to get hit*

(Note: If you do not know much about lightning, or believe you do, I implore you to do a little research into the subject: see how lightning is formed and birthed, I will be manipulating lightning and all of its forms, from stepped, spirit, elves, blue jets, fork, bead etc etc, to the elusive Catatumbo lightning, and yes even positive streamers)
Technique(s):1. Catatumbo strike- Using the elusive form of lightning, Azuka snakes out his whip and has the lightning step out arching towards the streamer of Azuka’s choice, once the connection is made the lightning strikes that streamer with devastating consequences. The spark from it lighting ignites the cataumbo properties causing a explosion equal to the length of the streamer

2. Blinding Bind – Azuka uses the whip to snake out, forking the natural lightning present in his zanpakuto, the lightning forks out desperately trying to reach every streamer it can, during its short lifespan. Once it makes contact with the appropriate streamer, the lightning wraps around them binding them for a short period of time.

Bankai: 
The sword of course splits into 8 thunder whips
Bankai Special Ability: haruichiban *First Storm of Spring*
A bubbling storm forms in the sky, the tell tale anvil of a thunderstorm, the rotation of a super cell following not soon afterwards. The bubbling, churning raging storm soon boils over and the first crack of thunder is heard, but no lightning is seen. That’s because the first lightning produced is Azuka’s 8 whipped sword, holding each a lightning bolt of deadly intent.
His special ability is absolute command of the super cell and the energy within it. He can immediately call lightning down for numerous purposes, of any form, shape, size, range, even type. From the super cell comes the wild natural energy that lies within its billowy cloud form. Unlike before, when he controlled lightning for solely his whip, he can call upon this energy in any way he can imagine, the many properties it holds. He can use the lightning as cage to hold an opponent, or him, or fire it off in rapid succession.
He can also use the super cell to fuel his zanpakuto and use it instead of his own reaitsu, thus conserving it for other things. While released and rotating the super cell, causing about 60 lightning strikes per minute, over the vast area that the super cell contains, that is approximately, 856 lightning strikes per square mile.
To those that do not know the properties, super cells, have more energy than the earth produces in a decade .Since claiming the super cell as his own, it acts as a powerhouse that can replace his reiatsu depredation throughout the battle.

Techniques:1. The binding-
Using all eight lightning whips, Azuka has them snake out and try and bind the opponent, much like a constrictor snake would, they move incredibly fast, using the streamers mentioned earlier, as they approach the target, they use the lightning present in the sky to strike and try to paralyze the opponent before capture, once if captured, they repeatedly try and shock the opponent into unconscious. Abet, each “strand” is weak, as a whole, they are very tough to get out of, but individually the whips are easy to cut, as they are nothing more than lightning conduits, which channel the lightning present in the atmosphere.
